West Nile Mosquito Advisory
July 27, 2017  LA County Vector Control has confirmed mosquitos infected with West Nile Virus have been found in the Parnell Park area. We are removing any free standing water in the park and we recommend that residents in the area do the same. If you visit the park or live in the nearby area, please consider using bug spray before staying outdoors. Vector Control is working to mitigate problem mosquitos throughout LA County.

Heat Alert: High Temperatures Forecast for Parts of L.A. County
July 10, 2017  The Department of Public Health would like to remind everyone that precautions should be taken, especially by individuals who participate in outdoor activities, older adults, caretakers of infants and children, and those sensitive to the heat.
