Children are invited to practice their reading skills to gentle, certified, trained therapy dogs just longing for kids to read to them!  Reading to dogs can help increase children's reading confidence, skill, and enjoyment. 

The Whittier Public Library partners with The Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs Inc. organization who trains, certifies and coordinates volunteers to provide this program.
