NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE PARKS, RECREATION, AND COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION 

Notice is hereby given that the Regular Meeting of the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Commission scheduled for August 21, 2024, 6:00 PM is cancelled. The next regular meeting will be held on September 18, 2024 Meeting agendas are available on the City’s website www.cityofwhittier.org. For assistance with any business related to the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Commission, please contact staff during business hours at (562) 567-9400.  

The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission consists of seven members who advise the City Council on matters relating to parks, street trees and community recreation. The Commission promotes recreation programs for the City.  Meets the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber in City Hall.
