CERT, which stands for Community Emergency Response Team, is a program designed to train and prepare community members to effectively respond to emergencies and disasters.

CERT is a grassroots initiative managed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and implemented at the local level by various community organizations, including city and county emergency management agencies.
