The Fleet Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for the preventive maintenance, repair, acquisition, replacement, and disposal of all City vehicles and equipment.  This includes heavy-duty earth moving equipment, heavy, medium, and light trucks, passenger sedans, police vehicles, Dial-A-Ride buses, and other off-road and turf equipment.

The Fleet Division also operates gasoline, diesel, and compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel-dispensing systems and is responsible for City compliance with environmental laws applicable to vehicles, equipment, and fleet maintenance services.

The Fleet Division follows the Vehicle and Equipment Donation Policy to donate qualified retired vehicles and equipment to local not-for-profit organizations.
