New Water Utility Payment Portal
We are excited to announce that starting November 4, 2024 our water customers will have a NEW and ENHANCED payment portal. The same high-level security and customer service that you have grown to expect from us will not change, however, the new portal will be more user friendly, providing more ways to manage your account(s) and improve the overall payment experience with features that include:
- Easy enrollment in Auto Pay, E-billing and Text N Pay options
- Historical bill and payment data
- Capability to update your account
- Multilingual capabilities
- One-view multi-property access
If you have scheduled any future payments through our previous E-Bill Express system, be advised that after November 11, 2024 those payments will not go through.
Please visit https://cityofwhittier.payacp.com/home to register your water account online, view your account history, set-up your preferred payment method and activate your notifications. Credit Transaction Limit
Due to the gradual, yet steady increase, in merchant credit card fees, the City of Whittier has established a $5,000 credit card limit per transaction. Effective Monday, December 1, 2014, payments over $5,000 must be made by check, cash, or debit/ATM card. A transaction is defined as the combined fees/taxes, per customer/location, per day, regardless of multiple payees. Payment by debit card is not affected.
