Discounts

Low income, single-family residential customers who receive water service provided by the City may be eligible for a monthly discount on their water bill based on income. To be eligible, residents must apply and qualify for the Utility Users Tax Exemption.

Proposed New Water Rates

A water rate study is currently underway. A notice will be mailed in the fall to Whittier residents regarding a public hearing scheduled for November 12, 2024, to discuss the new proposed rates.
